This seems like a strange solution to the problem. By adding more current, the flipper will heat up even more, meaning that you will need to again add more current to compensate.
I would think that all you would do is go from a hot coil to a super-hot coil very quickly, still resulting in a very "faded" flipper (assuming you don't burn out the coil first).
Making a coil hotter to compensate for the coil being hot just seems like a bad plan...
Not only that, but System 11 flippers never had much of a fading problem anyway (assuming that the EOS switches are working correctly). It's the Stern flippers that use a single-winding coil that have the real fading problems.
