i have no problem polish up the other metal on the machine with my 3m sanding wheel. But i cant figure out a good way to get those ball trail marks out of my scoops and the sanding wheel wont fit. How do you guys do it?

The easiest way I have found is using 3m sanding disks:
3M Medium-Finishing Sander (9415NA)
3M Scotch-Brite Fine-Finishing Sander (9416NA)
Star with the medium grade sander until the ball trails marks are gone, then go over it with the fine grain sanders to leave behind a nice grain.

To re grain I’ve used 500 grit and you can’t go back and fourth.. ya gotta go all the same direction

the problem is this wont fit in the scoops

Yep - Scotch-Brite pad along with Mean Green cleaner works great!
