I have a re-theme project on a Gottlieb Buck Rogers SS machine where I need to have dimmer GI lights on the playfield.
Probably around 25-50% dimmer, but doesn't need to be variable.
I will just find one light level I like and keep it there.

Is it as simple as putting a resister(s) at the beginning of the GI strings?
    Other ideas?
I've already painted the bulbs red for a dimmer effect but still too bright.

    Thanks.
    Alan
