I think he knows this but he's trying to figure out this without opening the box. Probably have to get a hold of Stern with your serial number and have them tell you. Or get one of these...
The older ones were made from quality metal before the cost cutting. Then the wooden ones came along.
The placement of the power switch. On the head it's the new style. Where it's supposed to be older style. Also isn't the speaker panel totally different?
