Cleaning out a machine last night and found, buried under the years of crap piled in it, there was a tube of epoxy. Just one part mind you. And it had leaked. So now sitting in the bottom of the cabinet, I have a sticky globber of epoxy that's NEVER going to harden since, of course, I don't have the other part of it. Not sure how to clean it out. Any suggestions?

    Quoted from cowman57:

    Rubbing alchol.

Then scrape then sand. Steel wool is great for cleaning the floor of cabinets also.

Thanks cowman...I'm going to give that a try!

Since it hasn't been mixed or cured, acetone is another thing to try.

Rubbing alcohol took it right up! Just a bit of minor discoloration left, but the bulk of the icky sticky is gone, thanks!
