Hi
I’d like to install a free play button On my GTB Surf Champ. I have just taken a long look at the door and don’t see which screws to unscrew to get at the coin denomination labels. (This is where the button mech goes)

I’d be grateful for any hints.

Thx

Stefa

Why not just use the replay button already on the coin door?

Good question. I like to keep as much original functionality as possible. And I think it’s more fun.

Why don't you do the ole 'gator clip on the Bonus unit sw.?

I have used this successfully. No wires clipped nothing removed/added to machine: http://www.pinrepair.com/em/index3.htm#free

If you want to keep it original then drop coins in it. Otherwise bend the zero position switch on the credit unit closed. How does screwing around with the coin slot keep it more original than just bending the switch closed and hitting the start button like you always would?

Talk about a solution in search of a problem...

Ah come on, drill a hole in the front of the cabinet and add a door bell button, we love that.

Here's a hack for a Williams AAB, mount a contact behind/on the eject button to simulate a coin drop
