Will you cover some of the details on the transition from the Visual Pinball design over to CAD or a printable copy for the playfield cutting?

I'm torn on designing anything in Visual Pinball vs starting straight in Fusion360 or similar. I'll have to learn the details of designing in VPX, with then no clear path to transition to something that can be used to cut the playfield. Obviously you get the benefit of virtually flipping before you start building...
I'm also a little frustrated trying to find existing CAD lower 1/3 playfield templates, etc, for a modern WPC or Stern playfield to use as a base, if anyone knows of something I've missed. I can't find much beyond pinballmakers.com...
