Makes you wonder if they had just hosted a tournament or something and the games were set accordingly? Seems like a poor way to encourage casual play.

I have no idea but this would also seem like a weird call by Stern -- the "default" in pinball for the last 30 years has been ball save, are they trying to change that back now?
