HOW CAN I ADJUST SWITCH 42 ON HIGH SPEED PIN BALL
Carefully. You can bend/adjust the wire part the ball trips with your finger or small pliers.
Check in switch test with a ball to see if you got it better.

I think switch 42 is the left one of the two switches located under the black plastic ramp, up at the top of the playfield - the first one that gets hit if you shoot the ball up the ramp.
Before you do so, adjust your keyboard: the capslock is on! (though in the end of your post it seems to be off again)
It could be that the switch isn't working well (if you mean you get an adjust-failure on the display): if it hasn't registrered in some games, you'll get that message. What Lloyd says would be the first thing to try (and see if there's no wire hanging loose under the switch itself).
