How to adjust shaker motor strength?

To reduce the shake manually you can rotate one of the motor weights 90 degrees. I dont know the menu options on the CGC remakes but new sterns only give the option to reduce how often the shaker is used not its intensity. I just rotated one of the weights on STh and now I get a nice tremor instead of an intense buzz.
