how the hell do I take this apart??

first time working on a coil, trying to replace the sleeve and spring, but how the hell do you take it apart? something I am missing? I was able to unscrew the bottom bracket but the shaft coming out of the top of the coil goes through a permanent bracket, there must be a way to take this apart, any help? From a Williams hurricane if that helps

That black piece connected to the shaft should come off - usually one screw through the middle of it.

Thanks, you were 99% correct. I just figured it out, I removed the whole assembly from the playfield to get a better look at it, I knew that stupid cap came off. There is a little pin you can see in the picture, you have to yank it out, Took a LOT of force thats why I could not figure it out with the assembly in place.

Also- That is an awesome collection you have, I must say!
