Why do so many people take the game out of the box with the bottom sitting on the floor? Keep the game vertical and put the front legs on first to reduce the steps and minimize the chance of messing up the bottom edge of the artwork.
Quoted from centerflank:Ive been laying it upside down on the backbox, install all 4 legs, then just roll it over till its right side up.
Please say you are joking.
Quoted from McCune:Why, because I am not a rookie making rookie mistakes ! The game was carefully rolled out of the box on PVC pipe rollers and oh so gently set on the carpet mat and the box was preserved for resale and shipment needs.
Why do so many people think they know what is best ?
I am just saying it seems so much simpler to do it Stern's way:
I go one step further and use my lifter which has a tilt to get the game horizontal so I can put the back legs on without much force.
