I needed a 3 amp slow-blow. I went to my parts bin and found an old baggie of fuses with a hand written "3SB". I checked a fuse under a magnifying glass and sure enough it was stamped 3SB. I proceeded to "blow" through most of the baggie when it occurred to me that maybe they weren't really 3 amp fuses. I looked again with the magnifying glass and there right under the 3SB stamp was 250MA. Yeah, they were 1/4 amp fuses.

So... What the hell does 3SB mean?

p.s. I have since acquired a set of circuit breakers for testing.
