A hobby is what you do just because you enjoy it, not for the money.

Quoted from Brtlkat:$15 per person x ???? how many people,, someone is profiting off of this.
PAGG donates all their proceeds to a local teen center. In the past couple years it's been about 10 - 15k. To run the show requires well over 100 volunteers. If the whole thing was run for-profit and they paid staff and paid for people to bring games, it would lose money - a lot of money! And that's despite that they use a relatively cheap, out-of-the-way convention hall and not one in a major city next to an airport.
Regardless, who cares if someone profits off pinball? Why profiting in pinball is a cardinal sin to some of you always perplexes me. If someone offers me a good value I'm certainly willing to pay for it and if they make money in the process, why is that a crime?
