    Quoted from jid:

At the risk of asking a dumb question, what causes the ball to move slower or faster when ejected right after the ball is launched? I forget what that part name is called.
Every time I’ve ever played, when you start the game with a plunger, the ball pops out at a fairly high rate of speed. On this game it was super slow. Maybe the playfield needs to be cleaned and waxed…. But is that it or is there typically a setting for the rate at which the ball pops out?

Swollen coil, melted coil sleeve, or some mechanical issue probably.

    Quoted from LTG:

TZ has a weak spring to make it easier for the player ( YOU ) to make the skill shot a little way up the shooter lane. You need to try and stop the ball on a certain color for what ever you have going on.

Won't change TZ's shooter lane skill shot. Youtube has videos on playing pinball machines. Time to study objectives of games before trying to fix things that don't need fixing.
    LTG : )

Ah, maybe I was misreading, I thought they meant the ball eject mechanism, not the shooter rod.
