Considering your current space how many additional pinball machines could you add to your gameroom without having to sell a game or add additional square footage. I could squeeze in one additional game but I do like the spacing I currently have. I'm basically in a trading environment to change games but I do have an option for that one MUST have if needed.

How is zero not an option?

    #3 3 months ago

I am -9 on space as I have that many on loan cause I can't fit them all in my house/garage. Having said that, I just bought another 2 weeks ago with the seller understanding that I do not know when I can pick it up.

Added. My first attempt at adding a poll.

    #6 3 months ago

Well beyond my practical capacity. I'm sure I'm not the only one in that boat.

    #7 3 months ago

I have 33 at home and 33 on location, so -33.

I have 2. +1 on order. Mulling what could likely be the actual 3rd title between now and when the preorder game ever sees the light of day and then the preorder would actually slide into the 4th slot. Could have 5 comfortably. Maybe squeeze and cramp 6 but would be a bit cumbersome.

To be honest, I think 5 would be a magic number for me and a solid lineup shall I ever attain it. Then it would be a trading scenario of give/take to acquire a new pin. Gotta give to get. So, room for +3 and rereading your OP I failed at your poll answering how many I could potentially fit in total.

    #10 3 months ago

I'd have to sell 3 to add 1 at this point

    #11 3 months ago

-1 (or -3 more practically [a truly practical person may say -9 or more ]). Currently have to walk through my kitchen to get to the end of the house (garage/living room, etc), as the main walkway is blocked off with pins...(dropping one would fix that).

5? Aim higher! I think your magic number is 14!! Make it so!

I keep saying I am out of room and then I either find room or re-model/rearranged the basement to cram something else in. The last item I put in the basement; I told the previous owner I was going to flip it. It somehow found room in the basement.

    #14 3 months ago

    I'm at -1 right now

Heh. If you're adding my wishlist dozen then we're gonna have to shoot for at least 15 since my preorder game isn't on either of my lists yet.

    #16 3 months ago

It depends. I have room for 2.

But if I buy any more my wife may divorce me, creating even more room.

    #17 3 months ago

    -2. I see a common theme here….

    #18 3 months ago

I’m at 12 right now . If I could take over the wife’s gym area I know I can fit 8 more . Dammit I even offered to pay for her new gym membership. She wasn’t amused !!!

If I did some Tetris with the games I have upstairs (3 pins and 3 vids), I could probably fit one more up there. My downstairs room is maxed out at 7 pins.

    Damn this thread...

This is kind of like the gameroom thread. If I smash them all together I can maybe fit 10. But we don't have a proper couch in the basement either. Like Oilrat said... get rid of the Peloton shit and I'm good for at least another 6-7. Wife gets pissed when I start blocking the walkout patio doors.

    #21 3 months ago

Currently -10. But, at least they are all here. Just never all set up at the same time. I “rotate” a couple games around every few months.

I could set up all the pins at the same time if I really wanted to but, I also have quite a few arcade games. Besides, I like to have a different variety every so often and I prefer them to all be in my basement.

    #22 3 months ago

Unfortunately I am -11 at present time and have been driving to work for 2 weeks with one in my car.
Problem is I like all of them.

    #23 3 months ago

I am currently there at 5, though was looking to go down to 3 for space (am in a studio apartment). The problem is I can't seem to decide after 1 title so 4 it is.

    #24 3 months ago

-1. Otherwise no pin has to be moved to take the glass off another, but I've got two floating in the middle of the floor right now instead of 1.

I ran out of room, genuinely serious at about 4 games.

I kept buying anyway and found some new and exciting ways to store games and places to put them. Then I once again hit a very real and hard cap of about 20. Ever since then it’s been the magic of reorganizing and sliding things around and getting rid of furniture and so on.

I run an arcade and space is totally maxed, so it adds some pressure to find new locations… but I just love each game so much and I don’t want to have to go out to my location to play a certain game! Such a dilemma!

I am at my hardest limit yet. There is really no space left to cram a game or pack it away. The only way I could fit another game would be if it’s an old pre-war. Don’t think I’m not looking either!!

    #27 3 months ago

    Spacing is important.
Having games too close together can spoil the fun.

There is a great deal more involved with enhancing the pinball experience if you so choose.
Lighting and room acoustics are the 2 big ones.

That one "must have" will need room to breath, and if you love pinball as much as most of us do, you'l want to have space to cut loose

You have a wonderful collection and to be honest, unless you don't have to work and have a ton of spare time how would it be difficult to be satisfied with your existing line up ?

For home, I think 5-6 is a good number.

I run with 3 at the moment.
Looking to add 1 or 2 more, That's it.

    Must have, I dunno yet.
The current rumors are lack lustre.

I'm pretty sad Venom didn't tick the "must have"
box for me, I really want an Eddy game.

Anyways, go for it, Do what turns you on !

    Good luck !

I ran out of space 20 games ago

    #29 3 months ago

    I'm at -2.
    Need to stop buying. HaHaHa......

    #30 3 months ago

    Always too little space.

    #31 3 months ago

If I wanted to stuff the house, I could add a few more, but that would be unfair to my family & I just don’t need any more pins. I’m at 0 extra space now. If I buy 1, gotta sell 1. My garage is my main gameroom, there are 18 in there. I’ve been thinking about selling 3 or 4 to just open up the space a bit more. It’s hard to pick what to purge, though. I’ve sold B/W classics to get new games over the past few years, but I don’t know if I want to purge any more classics. I sold GZLE the other day to make room for Pulp Fiction…but since that won’t be showing up for a while, I bought a DP Prem to fill the slot for now. If I end up wanting to keep DP, then I gotta pick something else to go when Pulp arrives.

Ha! Been there. The grounds were different, but yes, it does add an amazing amount of room. I could probably squeeze another 40 or so in here now.

If I took the area of the basement that my wife uses for Zumba I could probably fit 6-8 more but it's worth it for her to have her space too.
