    It started for me around 79. The corner store had a Joker Poker, store across the street from there was Bally Strikes & Spares, and later Nitro GS, but I was REALLY excited to go with my parents on Sat. mornings to Jewel (grocery store in Chicago) to play that awesome Williams Phoenix! WMS games were just jaw-dropping to me compared to BLY and GLB. Every quarter I would get went into somebody's pin!
