Hell, they could put a few Plats up on a rack and pull them down 2 years from now to sell at an even higher premium, as a certain distro is infamous for.

I'm sure there's a wink and a nod somewhere in that arrangement. If they refuse allocation of one that the manufacture needs moved it could reflect negatively on future allocations I would guess.
