It's totally up to the dealers on where they want to price the game at.
If they tell a caller "$50K on the Diamond" and the caller says "Great, here's my card number" that's a nice sale.
Kinda like when VW dealers were selling the redesigned $14K New Beetle for $25K because demand was so high.
Those dealers actually made good money that year.
