I've been several times and each time I make it a point to find him and say thanks for everything you do. Sometimes he's friendlier than others, but so what? So am I at times.
Yes, the games don't look like the games in your basement. Again, so what? You expect them to? They're played day after day, with who knows what kind of morons beating on them, and with not a lot of time to fix them. If you expect collector quality games in there, you need to go somewhere else.
The only time the game condition means anything to me is if I'm playing a game I've heard a lot about but have never played. It can skew your perception of the game. Otherwise, I take the condition of the games for what it is. I've played in arcades in the old days with games that were worse than PHOF's games.
People are downright ridiculous at times. People who bitch about TA and attitude are the same people who bitch about Steve Young.
