I have only been to the PHOF a handful of times, and every time Tim was very nice and cordial. Pinball Circus went down while I was playing it (ball got stuck) and Tim took the time to come and unstuck the ball, and let me stick my snout inside the game for a few minutes.

Another time he came over and chatted me up for a bit about what games I own, and even remembered to get me a few copies of the TOP DVDs that he was out of a few days before. I never asked him for repair tips or anything of that like.

Overall I have never had any issues with him. Seems like a nice down to earth guy who has done a ton for this hobby, and for a whole bunch of other people while asking very little in return.

    Quoted from chadderack:

Does it have anything to do with user's choice of games? From what I've read, he prefers the EMs.

I played all sorts of games, so I do not think it had anything to do with it. All my visits the place was rather slow, and I did not bother him beyond thanking him for all he has done and letting him know I was really enjoying myself. He was tinkering on games when I was there, so I left him alone really, except to mention the pinball circus issue, and I needed more quarters as the change machine wasn't working. Otherwise, I left him to his own devices.
