The PHOF is a great place to visit and play. Machines are being worked on constantly so most aren't down for long when they are. However, if you visit one time for a hour or two, that may happen to be the time some of your favorites are out of order. That's just the nature of pinball.

Tim is a good guy but clearly can't spend all day everyday chatting up everyone. The target customers for PHOF are adults looking to play games they remember from decades ago and current pin enthusiasts more than young kids swinging from the plunger of a woodrail.

    Quoted from PismoArcade:

All I know is I've been there many times and probably interacted with him 6 or 7 times. Nothing too in depth. I just throw a few kind words at him (something along the lines of "Place is looking good, Tim. Thanks for keeping all this going") and he always smiles, thanks me and, if he's not too busy, we have a brief chat. Last time it was about the awesome pastrami place a couple of blocks away.
He is gruff and doesn't suffer fools. As I get older, I'm starting to relate.

Yeah, that pastrami place IS great!
