As some one who loves pinball. I will go back again and again. As I visit Las Vegas atleast once a year. Yes Tim can be gruff. One suggestion would be to not ask him questions regarding how to repair your pin. The place could use a going over, even more closed shelving in the repair area would help appearances. But it is all about pinball so it is worth the visit. Spend $20 in quarters, $20 will last longer here than one of those casinos on the Strip.
I was playing a pin. The next machine was down. Tim came by, opened it up and was muttering something regarding optos. I said, 'Tim, This is great thing you are doing here'. He said 'Thanks'. I would agree with the posts, when Tim is gone, the PHoF will be gone too. I have seen Tim, post on Pinside.
I am sure that Tim is not like Mr. Rodgers everyday. Everyone has their off days.
