It doesn't change my opinion of the place. Although I admire all he has done, and how he spends the money, which is above and beyond, I've been turned off by the complaints of the state of machines, and the lack of maintenance, regardless of how/why. Given all there is to do in Las Vegas, and even though I'm a pinball fan, when I make it done next year, I'm not sure if I'll make the trip given this.
I watched the video, which I'm surprised no one has posted, of him explaining his reasoning for everything, and again, very noble, but like most, I am of the belief that a small portion of the funds to better maintain the machines would mean more happy customers, more business, and likely more profit to his cause.
But he has the experience, and knows how to get so much out of every penny, so maybe he has it figured out as best as possible.
