I am planning to move a collection of pinball machines and am limited to how much weight I can move. I need a pretty good estimate of their weight so I can figure out how many I will be forced to sell (eliminated from collection) prior to the move. Most are EM's. Does anyone know how much these weigh? Not really looking for guesses....I've done that. Hoping someone has actually gotten weights of these old machines in the past. Thanks.

The original flyers sometimes had the weight listed. Grand Prix is listed at 270 crated. So modfather is pretty much money.
But GP was the last Williams em and it was a four player with A LOT of mechs, so it's a beast.
Single players are significantly lighter; prolly a little over 200...

Some games are heavier than others. I’d say 260 is about right.

250 to 325 lbs most fit in that range....

Space Mission - mid '70s, 4 player, beast - is also listed at 270 crated.

I swear 4-player EM backboxes continually gain weight as they seem heavier each time I lift one.

Wow! Heavier than Hobbit? That was the heaviest pin I’ve ever moved

If it's a STTNG you might as well go ahead and rent a crane.

The wide body pins like JJP have tend to be about 350 pounds. (WOZ, Hobbit, POTC). But your average pin is between 260 and 310 pounds.

Wow, 300 lbs. That's impressive. It always felt heavier than my other games.

That's insane. There should be laws for that!

The AFMr I pulled up 12 basement steps last weekend almost killed me.... I coughed up stuff that “ went down the wrong pipe” from 40 years ago..... Pez, Sweet Tarts, you name it!

At least EMs get lighter with head removal.

I think you meant to say 1-2 ex-friends.
