I recently picked up a TOM with some pretty bad board work that happened at some point. The GI connector was removed pretty sloppily, lifting several traces along the way. Whomever did the "repair" connected the power to the GI lines directly and put in-line fuses in. I've replace GI connectors before but never on a board this bad. At what point would it be better to get a new board? At $300 it is not cheap and I also try to keep things as original as possible. The game is a keeper for me. I dont think the board is beyond repair but I'm not sure if its more trouble than its worth.
