    Quoted from LTG:

I'm at the hoping my dog starts crapping gold stage.
It's heading to near impossible to earn on them or count on resale after to recoup enough.
    LTG : )

This is what concerns me. If locations aren't making money, then we won't see pins in the wild.

As far as me personally, I always have to ask what else could be done with the money? If a LE costs 15k...would I want that, or an extravagant vacation...or car...or an investment opportunity?

There is also the quality vs. price. As an Example, I'm a HUGE James Bond fan, but at that price...it had better be perfect. I just can't get past that wobbly rocket. It looks idiotic. If there were an awesome mech in there...I could possibly justify the price. As such, even as a big fan, I won't be getting it.

    Quoted from PinballTilt:

I've seen countless people say after bond I'm done. Isn't that a bit like an addict saying this is my last hit? Not judging, just observing everyone swearing this is the last time. Pinball themes haven't really caught up to themes I grew up with and care about yet, I'm worried for my wallet when they do though

The thing is...Bond is a SUPER DESIRABLE them for so many.

Pinball, of course, is addicting. I'm guessing these price points aren't sustainable, however. They will have to be top tier themes every time, and that isn't happening.

    Quoted from crujones4life:

Not priced out and never will be as long as it's a theme I want. I will find a way.

I think many of us don't necessarily feel 'priced out' as much as we feel 'valued out'

Any item, regardless of its' audience, pricing, or usefulness...has a perceived value. Once that line has been crossed, it's game over.

    Quoted from IdahoRealtor:

This is how I am, but for some weirdos value does not factor in. I'm referring to the hype crowd and the gotta have it crowd. See Example A pictuted below. A $1 clay brick that says Supreme on it, currently for sale on Ebay for $3000.

I'm in the business of buying and selling, and I can certainly tell you that some people are just idiots.
