Use stabil, drain the bowl when you plan on letting it sit.

How do you drain the bowl?
Well I work on hondas but it should have a flat head on the bowl to drain it. If not shut the petcock off and let it run until it dies...
If you have an air filter blowing dust at it shouldn't be an issue.
