Quoted from Azmodeus:

Sadly one of my hard truths. It Will not change. But I can look at all of your cool bikes!
I had hoped to get a chopper someday. My riding in the past consisted of me taking my kids dirt biking. Fun stuff. But now I can only look at a chopper. I really do enjoy looking at them now though...

Getting old makes this one hard for me to ride too

We walk in and I find an 05 1200 with 15k for $3500. Pickin that bad motherfucker up tomorrow

I think you'll be a lot more happy with the rubber mounted motor on the 05. Congrats RMHF

Quoted from Gryszzz:

Absolutely. This was a big plus. Wanted fuel injection, but it is what it is.

I've been riding carbureted bikes for 36 years, and still own 1, just get yourself a routine of starting it in cold weather

Quoted from DeadFlip:

Oh baby. '04 HD Road King.
I'm 6'7'' so I NEED a big bike.

A friend of mine built this, the guy on the bike is 7'6".

Quoted from DeathHimself:

shifting in 2,3,4,5 no problem. It's starting off the clutch into first and stopping to hit neutral that you have to master

That's easy, it's all the way forward

Quoted from Gryszzz:

Yeah man...it wasn't like I couldn't hold it up or anything. I really just kept in 1st and was turning in a circle, too slow, and the handlebars just whipped to the right and boom, down it went. I was fine but it was a little scary. I was frantic that I fucked the bike up, but amazed when I saw no marks. Turning scares me man. All I can do is practice.

Just don't panic, you're making the bike do whatever it's going to do, just need to get comfortable with it

Quoted from woody24:

so that the asshole who's already on my tail doesn't run me over.

Old pinballs in your saddlebag can take care of those issues, of course I would never do that myself

Quoted from woody24:

Just got my Bell Revolution Evo helmet in the mail today. But damnit, I forgot to check to see if it would work with glasses. It does not.
Anyone have any suggestions for helmets that may have enough room to slip on a pair of glasses?

In my Bell Arrow, I took out the cheek pads and stitched the upper corner where the arms go through

200 horsepower Harley, I wonder why it slid down the road?

No just too much dam power for a Harley, that's where we just quit tuning it because it will make more

Quoted from Travish:Wd40 makes tires nice and shiny.

Don't need any of that I can break the back wheel loose at 60, a friend of mine tried and the only thing that got hurt was his ego

Galveston for a 7 day Mehican cruise. Hell Robin paid for it....said you guys needed a break.
Absolute bliss not carrying my phone for a week...ahh the good ole days.

Good to hear thought you shifted into second gear without telling anyone I was getting worried about you

Quoted from woody24:

But I've got another problem I need to figure out. My damn right hand keeps going numb about about 10 minutes of uninterrupted riding. I've tried changing my grip slightly. And I've found out that if I can hold onto the throttle with my thumb, extending my fingers out for a few seconds will get me a little relief temporarily. But I'd be afraid to take any trips where I'd be cruising for 30 minutes or more.

Does your bike have a throttle lock? If not crampbuster works pretty well

Quoted from Gryszzz:

Finally got my official permit today! Been a long journey but feels good to finally be legal-like and all.
Then on the way home a rock cracked my goddamn truck windshield. $700 for a new one...guess I might as well claim it on my insurance huh?

Better your truck than your face, that shit hurts
