Nice.
Still waiting on the dudes $2800 1200 title to show up. If not here this week I'll have to move on. Starting to see some cheaper Dynas come up...just trying to keep it under 10k miles. Smartest thing to do would be to wait until winter hits.... that's when you buy a bike. But I usually avoid doing things the smartest way.

Big thumbs up for 3 wheelers!
I have several BigRed ATC's and an ATC 200, all great for tooling around extremely technical trails at meandering low speeds. Great to have the built in internal refreshment coolers you can pack with snow. 3 wheelers can articulate circles around 4 wheelers in tough terrain. Here are a couple of mine...
I had a atc110 when I was a kid and had a blast on it. Everyone got hurt on it but me. We finally killed it when we were riding it on the green belts in kingwood and the cops got after that us. We ran and rolled it down a hill. That was the end of its life.
After my stroke and three brain surgeries almost anything with less than four wheels is a problem.
This is a hard truth I face. No motorcycles. I was an avid mountain biker and that is over too.
Sadly one of my hard truths. It Will not change. But I can look at all of your cool bikes!
I had hoped to get a chopper someday. My riding in the past consisted of me taking my kids dirt biking. Fun stuff. But now I can only look at a chopper. I really do enjoy looking at them now though...
Quoted from Azmodeus:But now I can only look at a chopper.
How about a chopped trike?
(sorry to hear about your stroke. Challenging stuff I am sure)
Quoted from Azmodeus:I love those custom trikes.
Exactly! Looks awesome. I hope it happens for you (soon). Cheers.

Ha! My ATC's I posted the pics of have been rolled down hills many many times. I've never been hurt as I have never used them as speeders. A Big Red is like a farm tractor. So much fun to explore with. So many places I've gone where my 4 wheeler buddies can't follow. A Big Red has the articulation of a Mountain Goat easily transversing steep wooded hill sides full of small trees. That's the kind of low speed maneuvering I enjoy most. I've replaced the plastics and levers more times than I can count. The frames are stout. I've torn my ATC's apart in every which way and they're easy to rebuild. Truly a legendary vehicle that will never die. And it's nice that any part you need for a rebuild can still be found on ebay to this day.
Ok guys...dude finally got the title, and I went and looked at bike. He's not a scammer, but not the sharpest tool in the shed either. It's not a 2004, it's a 2000. And there's NO ODOMETER. Bike looks and sounds great, short ride seemed fine. No visible leaks on bike or ground. At $2600 for a 2000 HD I think is pretty good. What say the jury? Play or pass? The only other Sportsters in that price range are 1985-86 models. Not sure what to do...but I want it.

I started out riding an ATC 3 wheeler back in the day, lots of fun. These days it's on 4 wheels...
Love this topic as it covers my other sick addiction... Motorcycles!! Like pinball as a hobby I love bikes that scream and unusual. My current stable includes a BMW K1600 V6 Exclusive model which is virtually a moving technology lab. Love it and 1000 mile days are Nothing. For extreme local duty I have a beautiful to me Honda Rune in Illusion Blue. Rarely do I see another on the street and it is a work of art in my view. Great topic! I need to find a Cheaper hobby!!!!
Quoted from Yelobird:For extreme local duty I have a beautiful to me Honda Rune in Illusion Blue.
What beauties!
Quoted from Gryszzz:Anybody have a recommend site for running this bikes VIN?
Can't your local DMV do it? I'm really asking, I don't know. But logically, that's where I would start.
Also, local sherrif's dept. maybe? If you're nice, they might run it for you for free?
Quoted from Gryszzz:And there's NO ODOMETER
No odo is suspicious. What's the story?
Quoted from o-din:Does this count?
Yes it does. Has 2 wheels, doesn't it?
Pedals, man. That's the first thing I ever rode when I was 14!
A buddy of mine bought one of these at a garage sale a few years back for $50 like brand new. It was way cool and we took it to racing events and used it to get around and pulled each other on skateboards.
Later he sold it for $50 as well. There are two sellers that had no idea of the value of the thing.
Quoted from o-din:A buddy of mine bought one of these
Wow! Why was it "boxy"? To use it as a coffee table or something? I have never seen these on the road. That's awesome. 50cc?
It is boxy because you could fold it up and carry it like a suitcase. There is a handle for that. It wasn't very heavy. They are very rare and collectible. $6k BIN gets you one. I can't remember the cc, but it got around.
$2600 for a 2000 1200 mileage unknown. Sign me the fuck up. Bought it.
IRON FUCKING MAIDEN tonight...in a seedy motel drinkin beer and rollin prerolls. Pics tomorrow. Game changer.

Good move.
Quoted from Gryszzz:Here she is gents! My cherry buster!
Get this ugly pipes off there and you have a good looking bike.
Hey I'm sorry, that comment sounded very negative. I should say that a set of B&M pipes would look great on that bike.
Added over 7 years ago: I meant V&H. B&M is a shifter that I just bought for our 67 camaro.

Here's my 1983 Honda atc 185S that I bought new.
I Mowed a lot of lawns to pay for it! If i had a dollar for every person that's said " you want to sell that?"
I'd have a fat roll of cash.
I always thought it would be cool to use the rear of an ATC on one of my Cubs to turn it into a trike.
Quoted from Bendit:No odo is suspicious. What's the story?
On the Honda Rune Honda targeted a raw muscle only look with all indicators, rear lights, etc tucked to give it a smooth look. The odometer was creatively integrated into a custom digital display in the tank. Very clean setup. I will say the massive V6 engine with a stock only 1 rider seat position makes for an invigorating ride! A rolling Crome engine with a seat. Lol
Quoted from Gryszzz:Can't even buy a decent fu¢kin Fish Tales for $2600. I'ma be ok.

My friend was telling me back when Honda first started selling cars. They had a mini bike in the trunk. I wonder if that is it

Getting old makes this one hard for me to ride too
Exchanging cash for title tomorrow. I figure, shit, even if it has 20k miles on it I'm not seeing any HD 1200's for $2600. And dude started at $3800. Not likely to bargain most CL's down that much. So it needs a new front tire. I want to put some bad ass rims on it. Where do I start? Thanks dudes.
Quoted from DeathHimself:Out for an evening ride with my daughter and her fiancé, while testing the shoulders since tearing both rotor's. Good time.....
BOTH rotors?? Holy hell. Get well soon bub.
So stoked to finally get a Harley. Life dream.
Mf sounds EVIL.
This wheels look great. I personally wouldn't change them. I would put a stage one kit one it and maybe put bigger cams in it and make it run like a mother fucker.
