Most likely something on the road.

I have been dreaming of this project for years now. Finally got a chassis with a title to get the ball rolling. Rd350 aircooled two stroke twin in a 2003 R1.

I’ve had a few but down to a dirt bike now.

2009 Kawasaki zx-6r I turned into a track only bike

2014 KTM Super Duke 1290. Super fun street bike that’s surprisingly easy to ride at low rpm and longer distances.

2017 KTM 350 xcf (current and only now). Moved to Colorado, rode piles peak, then just never liked the road conditions so I stay dirt now.

Me and the fiancé finally got a chance to ride last weekend. It was great to finally get out and test out the new audio system. I dumped over $1000 into and it sounds amazing!!

Still have my 2002 Yamaha FZ1 that I bought new. Don't ride too much on the street anymore. Been riding dirt bikes for 45 years. Mostly single track trails these days.

Put 10 miles on new tires carefully it cleans up nicely. You could well have hit a patch of oil or fuel you didn't see, it happens.

Got a date in 10 days for my cataract surgery on the worst eye. Really looking forward to it as my surgery was cancelled at the start of the virus (elective was all cancelled, although i don't see saving sight as elective, they do) but a month later and i'm in.

Looking forward to a few weeks and it's healed i can take the superbike out again. Haven't ridden the Duke for a year because i can't see well enough, although i take the Rocker out every month or so for a run into town on the freeway or something.

Haven't ridden the Duke for nearly a year and the trail bike for longer.

I'm hoping the first song was Ice, Ice, Baby?

And it even has a cup holder! You cruiser guys are so pampered.

Thanks! Yeah here in the North East I have a ton of tight single tracks. Lots of rocks and roots.

I see we ride the same bike except mine isn’t the w.

That would be a lot of fun and a nice change from the trails I ride. I need to plan some trips to other states for a change.

It was not. First song was The Weeknd - Blinding Lights.

And yes a cup holder. Soon to be foot pegs so I can lay all the way back. Haha.

Seeing that it looks like KTM day, here is my 2014 XCW-350. Awesome Michigan woods bike. Had it out to Colorado (Ouray, Telluride, Silverton) a few years ago......that was a blast!

Now there is some woods I'd love to ride in. Fast, flowing pine forest. Been to Siver Lake with my 88 TRX250R with a bunch of my buddies years ago. Still have that quad.

Get rid of the yellow splitter guard or get laughed at.

Yes, you must be like everyone else or risk anonymous mirth.

#870 1 year ago
Quoted from D-Gottlieb:

Get rid of the yellow splitter guard or get laughed at.

Hehe ... the Dodge forums are full of comments about this ...
I like the splitter guard and I like it in yellow. In Germany Challengers are very rare, no clear thinking humans buys a car with 6.4 litre engeene. Most have 1.2 litre or hybrid right now. Therefor ... no one knows that this is a splitter guard and no art from the designer
I like it, otherwise I have to foil in yellow or do a paint job ....

#871 1 year ago

It will damage the splitter. Check it after while. It clearly says to be removed by the dealer, but, hey, it's your car.

Finally got my Moto License about 6 yrs ago. In CALI, It's a near impossible driving test. they make you go through an obstacle course called "the lollipop" because you weave through cones at idle speed, then turn two full circles at the top of the weave pattern, again all at idle speed. You are not allowed to put your foot down or you fail. the pass rate is like 25%. since most people cannot pass the test, especially those who own large cruisers with a long wheel base, CA offers a "safety class" for like $300 which takes an entire day of "training" and then they give you the license.

I failed my first driving test miserably. so, for the next two weeks, i practiced the lollipop course and perfected it. the tester at the DMV almost laughed when he saw me the second time. I passed! saving me $300 and a whole day of my time at the dumb safety course.

I rode enduro for a few years, then sold my DR 650 because of the high risk of riding so frequently (i had two babies). I then bought a street legal Yamaha TW200 to ride trails and put around town. I love to ride. I take the kids to the desert to ride quads. I really hope that my kids keep on with this fun hobby, especially desert trips. There's nothing like riding in the open desert. Such a catharsis, kinda like pinball!!

Cheers!

Kawasaki 440 (belt drive) and a couple of those 'pocket rockets' made
in china that use chain saw motors. Haven't driven them in years so they
should probably be sold.

Always wanted a classic to restore, BMW or Triumph.

When I was in college the local HD shop had a ‘motorcycle’ they would rent out for passing the driving test. The motorcycle was basically a scooter. So everyone passed with it as it was like riding a bicycle!

I did the day long class when I was in high school. We used nighthawk 250s so still a pretty lightweight, easy to maneuver bike.

Hey, I teach that 'dumb' safety course. It's the same course in all 50 States. It's a great and fun part time job and most students enjoy their time in class and pick up some riding and safety tips.

I did my test on a full size Harley and aced it...100%. Stuck it on the refrigerator with a magnet!

Mate of mine dropped my XS1.1 in the car park doing the figure 8's. If the cute little tester hadn't jumped back it would have landed on her foot.

She passed him, pretty sure she never wanted to see the idiot again.

sorry for the comment. I just think the driving test should reflect road driving, not a lollipop. I believe the lollipop test is just a funnel to the "safety course" intentionally. we ought to have a shot at success! anyway, if the class was like 50 bucks, I would take it just for knowledge. I just think 300 is a bit steep for a moto safety course with a bunch of other ppl. I heard you get a t shirt though!

Our class is cheaper but no t shirt. Price is set by the site. Harley Riders Edge is the same class with some additional brand marketing.
