Stern some how pays money for people to build worse versions of movie assets (like jp stern). Love the game just finished playing it actually..... Hate the fact there is not movie footage.
I love the matrix.... love pinball.... to the point I don't want a weak ass matrix game with shit movie assets..
So much to work with... I look at games like Rick and morty theme integration is put of this world. If that was done with a matrix pin that is probably my dream pin......

I’m a contrarian on the “movie clip” thing. Cool as hell in Batman 66 as it’s a great way to preserve that epic series but frankly I don’t need to see Jeff Goldbloom, Laura Dern or the old scientist (maybe Samuel) to enhance my game experience. I think the animations they made are great and nailed it by theming around the central problem- Nedry and his hacks. They got his voice which is pretty fab IMO. T. rex chase animations? Come on! Pteranodons? Awesome. Spitters spitting on the screen. Yup.
I have the movie clip asset version and while initially cool, I actually prefer Sterns treatment by a large margin. Maybe it’s the “is he going to eat the goat” line that grates, or Laura looking through the sunroof.
I also read the book long before the movie so the movie assets to me are secondary.
As for the matrix. Last two movies, especially the last damaged the brand.
