I just bought my Pascal System 80 all in one (PI-80) and 4 Pascal pop bumper driver boards last week for my new Haunted House. The package should arrive by end of this week or early next. Prior to reading this thread I was excited, but now I am chomping at the bit to get it all plugged up. I love reading over and over again people saying "no issues" or "best replacement boards out there". Makes me feel like the investment is worth every penny.

I made a deal with myself that when digging into my HH restore, if my original board showed any sign of battery corrosion, regardless of the amount, I buy the PI-80. Low and behold, I remove the old battery and there was a very very small amount. Could be fixed easily and the rest of the boards are decent, but I had to own up to my roll of the dice and I am really stoked.

Also, I could have modded/repaired the original PBDB's, but it just felt right treating my first, favorite and only pin ever to the finest gear available. So now i'm rocking all Pascal in this all original parts HH.

Sorry to be such a pinball newbie here, but what are the tools you recommend using for refurnishing all connectors in a system 80 game? If I go down this road before using my Pi-80 board, I'd love to get a head start assembling the proper tools and get to work.

I am all for bulletproofing. Between this and the brand new boards I should have little to no problems with this game.

I think what I'll do now is start researching vids and articles on repinning to get ready for this. Once I start, I'll probably do the entire game's connectors.

I'll try a small flat head first, but if I need something better is this the tool to get?
