How do you upsize a solenoid coil to the next higher power?
Example.. what would be the next jump up from a 23-800 ?

Quoted from ArecJohnson:The strength of the magnetic field around a solenoid can be increased by:
1. increasing the number of turns on the coil
2. increasing the current
3. placing an iron core inside the solenoid
The use of an iron core makes the solenoid into an electromagnet which can be switched on and off... Thanks,
LOL!
We're not talking about the strength of an electromagnetic field, we're talking about how to increase the strength of a solenoid which requires less wire turns to decreases resistance and increase current flow (amps) .... Thanks
Quoted from MrBally:I wonder if there is a Youtube video that substitutes for a degree in Electrical Engineering?
I'm being sarcastic. There is no substitute for a EE degree.
Don't need an EE degree to work on pins LOL!
