Thanks for the advice! I ended up having to do a little bit of pre-drilling cause like a few of you said... the pre-drilled holes weren't quite big enough.
I'm really really really really glad I had a chance to work on this mini-playfield before I did a full sized playfield swap. There's a lot of headaches involved in this, and I still even ended up forgetting to drill a hole but I'm done for the night. I have to say... the rails were the biggest pain, and all the tutorials I've watched/read haven't mentioned this at all.
