I don't have nearly the stuff most of you folks have, but I'm slowly acquiring stuff. Some tools, some plastics, but mainly parts that I keep handy for quick fixes. There is almost no organization to it and it's getting cumbersome. So I'm wondering if anyone has either some storage tips or things they've purchased that have helped keep them organized. Have been looking at maybe those plastic containers that have separators, but maybe someone here has something better they've found.

And a bonus question, what are some stuff you always keep on hand?

Get tool boxes, organizers, whet ever you like. Replace with bigger as need be as your accumulation grows.

I keep a lot of parts and cleaning supplies on hand.

I use those plastic Sterilite 3 drawer modular storage drawers you can buy in almost any department store for the smaller parts. I prefer the two smaller sizes. I don't have to carry the parts around like an op does though.

Special parts I have boxed. Hardware, coil sleeves, posts, etc I have in a parts organizer. Rings, bulbs, and electronics I have in Stanley carry case organizers. Dont cheap out on a parts organizer steel or ABS is super sturdy and available from places like Grainger.

The answer is anywhere I can find room, mostly under pins.

In the photos above.....can anyone tell me what the white piece of tape on the front of each machine means? I recently bought a Fish Tales that has that exact strip of tape on it.

    Hey,

I have a smallish tool chest for stuff I use a lot. Rolls around the basement. I also have a tool bag for taking stuff with me.
