    Quoted from adborto:

All of my machines are in my basement and I never realized how hard the floor was until I bought a Stern players mat. What a difference! This thing is amazing! So how do you play? Shoes? Socks? Barefoot? Poll added!

You need these for all of your pins: https://www.titanpinball.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=64&product_id=144

Great product, and you're supporting a great guy & small company with a passion for pinball!

So is this thread just a pitch?

Not my intention. Since he brought up the Stern mat, I wanted to bring attention to other options for those who are interested in such a thing. I have no affiliation with Titan Pinball outside of just using their products, and judging them to be of high quality. The owner is a lover of pinball, attends shows across the country, and genuinely a really nice guy. I like supporting people like that, and telling others about them.

    Quoted from PinKopf:

I have to play in shoes or at least slippers - the floor in my basement, even with carpet and whatever standard underlayers kills my feet. I've got a thick anti-fatigue chefs mat that I move between games on top of that. I guess I'm becoming a geezer now at 41...
I need to pony up for one of the Titan mats - I've eyed them before. Anyone know if they're better than your run of the mill average 1" anti-fatigue mat comfort wise, and beyond just looks??
