Working on my Bally Dungeons and Dragons (6803) and I need to check if one of the ic's is working. I do have a logic probe... But I never learned how to use it...I read a thing on or two... But I couldn't wrap my head around it. Any guidance.

Only test on circuits 0-5v
Red clip goes to 5v
black to ground
Poke at things to see if it is changing between 0-5v
There are some guides around Google and such

It helps me to look up the datasheet for the IC so you can tell whats supposed to be happening.
