Dumb question but as a pinball owner noob, I can't figure out how to pop the hood. All the info online says to open the coin door and pull the handle in the upper right. Trouble is, there's no handle nor anything I can see that looks like a release.

BTW, I searched the forum using keywords but this may be such a basic question, it's understood because I couldn't find answer. Apologies if I missed it.

Thanks. That's to lift the playfield. I can't figure out how to unlock the lockdown bar.

For the lock down bar. For that vintage there might be 2 long threaded rods with wing nuts. Open the coin door then look up along the top of the door opening. You will see either the 2 wing nuts or the ends of the 2 threaded rods. Unscrew the wing nuts then lift the lockdown bar.

there are long threads that are secured with nuts (mine were wing nuts) that go through the cabinet and are accessed through the coin door.

Two wing nuts on the under side.
