Pin is removalable with needle nose pliers or push in with small screwdriver. I just rebuilt mine with a kit from pinball life on my Earthshaker. The black bands holds pin in place & they give you a spring to go under cup. $18 kit. Much better kick out now.

Easier to work on if assembly is out of the game, especially if you rebuild it.

So how did you make out with kicker assembly?

Good to hear! Was cup in good shape? Working better?
