I have a couple titles that, due to licensing, likely will never have cabinet decals remade. I also plan on doing restores of these machines in the future, and they are “keepers” for me.

Looks like the only hope for decals are the classic arcade ones on fleabay. I don’t need them right now, but wondering that if these are “pretty good” then maybe I should pick them up. I also note though that they are $250 a pop, so I’m not interested in throwing away money either.

Any one gotten these and been satisfied?

You should be hoping for Pinball Pimp releasing Dungeons & Dragons cabinet stencils since that is in the same era of those games that were painted.

D&D is silk screened, defiantly not painted.

I really liked the bad cats ones I used from CA

His colors can be pretty badly off. I bought a set of Whirl winddecals from him that were way off. As a bonus, if you return them, he will ban you from every buying from him again.

edit:
here is my experience:

Buy anywhere else but Classic Arcades. Poor quality. But I've had to bite the bullet on Playboy pop bumper caps. Only seller with them.

Dammit. I had a different game in my mind. Sorry. I got my hopes up too.

What cabinet decals are you looking for?

My projects will be Doctor Who An Dungeons and dragons. I wasn’t actively looking for them as right now they are fine, but both are firmly in the “on the future docket” category.

Aren't Dr Who available from the 'overseas' seller?
I've had great luck with his stuff.

Dont buy decals until you are ready to use them

Decals are important but the cab prep is key.

Not licensed

Oh god, not this again...

Nobody has them licensed. And never likely will. Would be fabulous if they did.

Here is my experience earlier this month. Gave me decals missing colors and art. Would only recommend if no other option.20200823_150822 (resized).jpg20200823_150822 (resized).jpg

Note missing Statue ol Liberty and the other insert art missing.

Has anyone ever gone over existing cabinet decals with new ones? I have a Johnny with a perfect cabinet but horrible fade. Not a mark on it but looks horrible as is.
