Very nice, but I have to know, how the hell did you get the perfect pic of all the machines showing the title screen on the dmd’s at the same time. I have two dmd machines and know it’s not easy getting a pic of them in sync like that.

    Quoted from ReadyPO:

Two is enough to put in an order, with four you have 24 possible combinations!

How can you put 2 in order? Your favourite closest to the door or something? I currently have 4.... golden number for me. Enough time to get to know and play a title without getting sick of it. I dont think about order. But if I owned more than say 10 plus I might. To me that's when pins become more of a show rather than play item in your home. If you can consistently play 10 or more games and give each title its due time then I want to know your secret for the extra hours you have in your day.

I've got two game rooms in the house, so...

The downstairs game room is all horror pins (and decor): CFTBL, SS, MB, BSD, TAF, GB, and TWD.

Upstairs is 80's-themed, so I've got Tron Legacy and Star Wars Prem, along with some arcade games: Q*bert, Galaga, Berzerk, Tron, Satan's Hollow, Joust, and Sinistar.

Could be. Or one with the best cabinet art facing out, or keeper on the inside, etc. When you have a little OCD going on the order only really matters to you

You can't. Guests have a good time though, but honestly, I have always considered Pinballs as much an artistic medium and a time capsule with the very added bonus of being interactive. Sometimes, I turn on my rows of my older pins, sit down and enjoy a cold beverage and just enjoy the light show, maybe play just a game or two and bring back some memories. Beats staring at an expensive painting on the wall or a sculpture on the shelf. And ordered chronologically by manufacturer, of course

If I move on pin to another area then it will be 4,3, 2,1.

Woz has always had a unique spot that can only fit one pin.

For the rooms that just have a couple I do it by theme to work with the decor/art. For the larger rows its by era and manufacturer. I have ocd on the machines being different heights. In the warehouse its however they fit.

Anyone who thinks pins need to be in a certain order is full of ordure.

    Quoted from VALIS666:

Generally where ever there's space is my order, but when it's not too much hassle I've made small sections of themes where I can. Five (soon to be six) Jersey Jacks in a row. Three American Pinballs in a row. A little heavy metal section with Maiden, Metallica, ACNC, BK:SOR (now separated). A little mid-'60s pop culture section with Beatles, BM66, Gilligan, and Munsters (now separated). I did want to put my Orbitor 1 next to my Cosmic Carnival and bring in a few other less-loved oddballs on the cheap like Bugs Bunny, Thunderbirds, Hyperball, Granny & the Gators, whatever, and call that section The Island of Misfit Toys, but then realized that was a stupid idea.

I’m appalled you’d put Granny and Orbitor 1, next to such atrocities like Thunderbirds!!

Thunderbirds deserves to go next to some of those Sears home model games like demolition derby.

    I cheated.
