With this primarily. Thank God for JJP Pirates, it never gets old!

I've also started playing my War Gods arcade game since I just brought it back from the dead. I have no shortage of projects to work on next, so hopefully my motivation keeps pace with my new found free time.

I am blessed that both my wife and I can still work full time from home. Other than that, been cleaning up my games as needed. Ordered lots of parts that should arrive soon to keep working on stuff.

Praying. For everyone affected in this situation.

    #106 4 years ago

Lots of stuff that's needed done for a while....painting inside the house, cleaning up the workbench, waxing some playfield, ordering and installing way too many mods that I probably don't need, binge watching old DVDs (especially all of the Sean Connery 007s), FaceTiming with the kids and Grandkids, and of course playing lots and lots of pin....be safe everyone and try to stay positive. Agreed that watching the news more than an hour a day is such a downer I don't do it...

    #107 4 years ago

Playing some pinball, hitting the weights. Shoulder hasn't felt this good in a long time.

    #108 4 years ago

I have a routine - I go to work (Behavior Health Hospital), come home make scrambled eggs, bacon and toast for dinner and then play our daily on-line holdem tourney. Repeat every day. It gives me a routine that gives me some comfort in this crazy time.

    #109 4 years ago

Totally bored. While I'm not prepared to jump off a bridge just for excitement. During some house work have found unopened X-Files Series 6,7,& 8. That I have been watching each night.

Two different officials on opposite parts of Canada have stated that social gatherings should not be organised until after June 1st. (Sheesh I hope not.)
Hope that this quarantine ends with in the next 2 weeks, and not May 1st. Although it is better to be safe, than have this virus spring back to life.

This Week it is still acting like winter here, so taking out a hobby car for a drive, is no fun! Gas is cheap less than 60 cents a litre. Alas the driving will have to wait.

Got to get to the pins in the game room. They will all need a waxing and a glass cleaning. Possibly replacing some bulbs.

Hope every one and their families get through this in good health.

    #110 4 years ago

Late night start on repinning the sound board connector after dinner and a movie. haha. This is going to be a long repair since it is the 1st of the all connectors to go through and repin, among other things to be done. Since all the bulbs in Spectrum are CPU controlled insert lamps (GI lightning included), it takes 2 lamp boards to control them all, so quite a bit more repinning to do than most other older Bally games. This is just what it takes if you want a reliable game. Working on it for a local Pinsider to go to another local Pinsider.

2 answers: not very well and/or alcohol. Just finished a playfield swap and now bored again. Stay safe.

    #112 4 years ago

I am lucky enough to have my family at home, the pinballs and feel blessed to have a work from home job.

    #113 4 years ago

pinball, board games and card games with the kids, movie nights, walking and raising our new puppy.

I have an odroid-based retro console and the kids and I are working our way through games I loved as a kid...all the zeldas, secret of mana, final fantasy, metroid and super metroid. (i'd pay $$ for a metroid or zelda pin)

tons and tons of webex and zoom meetings.

drinking comical amounts of coffee (am) and beer (pm).

    #114 4 years ago

Getting better playing my pins, and spending 1 hour a day on the treadmill!!

My wife is obsessed with trying to become the new grand champion on our Dr. Who.
Must not be going so well because I keep hearing her scream profanity from the Pinball room. LOL

Contemplating why my new fuel pump on my van is shooting gas out the top of the gas tank rather than to the engine.

Ordered a pizza for food for today.

    Things like that.

For unknown reasons, on sunday my kids started playing with the super nintendo (I have a mini, I added a ton of snes games to it), and it’s all they’ve been doing since then, they havent touched any of the modern games I have.

Needless to say it makes me super happy !

I’ve dusted off my PS4 and started Arkham Knight from the beginning.

Got three buddies and I set up to play some Kaiser together last night!! Was great. Kaiser goes by different names, mainly originated in Sask and Que. but had blast crushing beers and laughing with the boys using Zoom meeting and online Kaiser (which the originator had to use the name Troika due to trademark issues)

    Flippin' every day!

I'm probably in the minority camp here, but I haven't touched my pins...I do thank God for beer though.

I have some property up north in the woods, shooting clay pigeons is a favorite pastime along with camp fire and beer afterwords...I miss the gun clubs.

    #126 4 years ago

I'm washing our pontoon boat today.

Absolutely! Look forward to weather clearing so I can distance by camping and canoeing. Buddy teased that I’ll get pulled over with my red canoe on top of car - not essential.
Who knows, but worth a shot!

By the way, appreciate all the ideas and real time pics.

I’m learning to prepare a few new Italian dishes. I find it relaxing, and the wine doesn’t hurt either.
Simple quality ingredients go a long way!

Just finished changing the rubbers on my RS. It helped occupy the time. Flipped it for a while. I just fired up my PS3 for the first time in 3 years. Boy did it need some updates. Now I kill some time with GTA5 again.

Pinball is cool and all, but quarantines can still be quarantines as long as you're doing stuff alone. Lately, I've been exploring the area on my bicycle. Taking nice long routes and snapping pictures of all the surreal COVID related sights like empty mall parking lots, parks with caution tape, and signs warning us to take extreme precautions.

When I'm not doing that, I've been sailing my humble little sunfish on nicer days. It's peaceful, and allows me to ease my mind.

About to move Space Odyssey back in the house.

When I haven’t had to be flying, I’ve spent quite a bit of my off time in the game room. Wish it would warm up so I could get out into the yard.

Yeah, my buddy has a Prusa MK3. And that is an awesome printer. But a little above what I wanted to spend.
I wanted a good larger bed printer for the best price. It's definately fantastic.
