I'm stocked up on beer. Yesterday and today will be yard chores, nice weather. For foul weather I have wax and a rubber kit for each pin. Also several flipper kits.

Now that we've been mandated to work from home for at least another week, I've taken the laptop to the game room and have been reassembling a Strikes and Spares in between checking emails. Other than that, a lotta PS4 and Netflix.

    Quoted from Duke-:

Weekends full or errands and appointments. Work crazy as ever. Go go go constantly. Never time to work on my projects.

So true. Shifting routines has certainly made me reevaluate that time.

I’ve been installing all the pinball mods I never got to, cleaning and fixing issues. I also did my annual battery change. For my 85 mustang Svo I’ve been sanding Trim and getting It ready for paint.

Honestly, being locked in and cooped up with the wife and kid hasn’t been an issue. I am coping pretty well and finding fun things to do.

    Refurbing/clearcoating a flash I recently bought. Spraying 5th coat
today. Got orange peel on last coat. Gotta sand it out. My wife
is still having to go into work(ups) and I worry about that.
Myself and my youngest daughter are laid off. My oldest daughter
is on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off schedule with regular pay. My son
who is a PTA like his pops is still doing home health
visits which really worries me but they are getting the m-95
    masks starting monday. Challenging times.

Doing renos is a great time passer. Worked right until the wife said supper was ready. Finished cutting and gluing the wood together for the insides of the stairs Friday and cut them to fit and installed them yesterday. Probably have 30 hours total into the staircase alone.

If you like old movies with actors in some of their first roles, try The Lion in Winter. Peter o’toole and Kate Hepburn are the stars but the supporting cast has a young Timothy dalton and Anthony Hopkins. Love that flick!

Watching taped women's college and beach volleyball, seeing all those women so happy and jumping around just makes me feel so much better.

Both my husband and I now have to work remotely from home, so that has taken up a lot more of my time than I’d like it to. But because I’m not commuting 90 minutes each day, I’ve had a little more spare time. I’ve filled that time with family walks (to make up for being a lot less active than I am at the office) and working on some projects I’d like to get done this year.

I've been binge watching The Sopranos for a second time after a 20 year gap. I'm amazed at all of things I've forgotten or didn't notice back in 1999-2007. The show still holds up very well and I'm really enjoying it. I find it a bit amusing to see people using pay phones and other dated technology from back then but it doesn't distract at all.

Great cast. Watching it has gotten me to Google search many of the actors to see if they're still alive, what jobs they've taken snice, and current photos of what they look like today.

I'm gonna do the same thing with Breaking Bad when the timing is right for me. Best show ever.

We watched that for a second time about a year ago.... I didn't remember how messed up it was! Funny how you remember certain things, but then you're like "Woah, I didn't remember THAT!" Great show.

    THIS!

But seriously, all of my family and friends are healthy. I'm still working (more than full-time). Fishing. Dirtbiking. And OF COURSE a shit ton of pinball. Life's good!
Home-schooling my son is different for sure though

Got bored and hooked up a badge reader to my LoTR this afternoon - absolutely no practical purpose but it killed a couple of hours and now I can use my phone to give credits - stay healthy all!

I was working on this last week.

Just got back my Monopoly playfield so that swap may be next.

Since we are retired it isn't too much different, just more forced. With no ability to go out to anything other than the grocery store every 2 weeks or so, we take the dogs for a long walk in the morning and evening. then alternate playing online games (we started level 1 characters in World of Warcraft and Fallout 76 together) and I usually spend 2-3 hours a day working on my pinballs, then some books, classic movies and netflix - rinse and repeat....

We've also been making a point of calling the kids and going online with them, either with a co-op shooter or a online boardgame - I recommend Talisman (through Steam) its a fun fantasy-themed boardgame you can all call and play together. It makes for some really fun times, laughing and being a family, even when its across the internet.

I'm staying sane by offering repair advice in the repair threads and repairing boards for games, just as I normally do. It is about time to work on something for myself soon.

    #93 4 years ago

My Hold' em group is having a daily 9pm on line tourney every night until this thing passes - it is one of my few daily bright spots I look forward to to chat with my buddies, have a couple drinks and take my mind off things for a couple hours.

    I've been watching Schitt's Creek. It's hilarious.

haha, we have been watching the "hot ones" sessions. Where celebrities eat progressively hotter chicken wings until they get to the 2,000,000+ scoville insta-death one.. really entertaining.

Check out Gordon Ramsey trying to survive...

Dusted off the Xbox yesterday and played some pinball arcade

My wife and I do 1000 piece puzzles in about 4 hours. I'd buy larger ones but I have no room.
