I’m in Houston on business until Friday. Are there any places any of you would recommend to play and maybe get a drink? I checked out the map, but I’m hoping there is something new / not listed.

Too bad you leave Friday as Joystix in downtown has Pac-Man fever Friday....all games free play 9pm-2am. Buy your wristband at the bar for like $15.
The bar is open daily and there are usually a couple pins in the bar.

Check out The Game Preserve....it’s on the North side of town.

Einstein's Pub in Katy has an incredible collection of machines!

Definitely Einstein's or Game Preserve. I don't know what side of town you are staying on, but Game Preserve is in The Woodlands (I-45 north) and Einstein's is in Katy (I-10)

Einstein's has 9 machines now, all pristine condition, and it's about $1.00 a play I believe. It's a bar so you can get drinks and bar food there. They have: Attack From Mars Remake, Ghostbusters Premium , Theatre of Magic, The Champion pub, Iron Man vault, Game of Thrones LE, Star Trek Premium, The Walking Dead LE, Guardians of the Galaxy LE & AC/DC vault.

Game Preserve is $15.00 to get in, but all games are on free play. Not a bar, but they have a byob policy, and you can bring your own food in as well. They have too many pinball machines for me to list EMs to modern day. The newest machine they have is Stern Star Wars. They are not as pristine as Einstein's, but it is a great variety. They also have classic video games on free play and a comic book store inside. http://www.gamepreservehouston.com/
If you like tournaments, there is a three strike tournament tonight starting @ 6pm at Game Preserve

If you are downtown/Midtown Poison Girl is a bar that has machines, I have not been there personally but I think they have 6-7 which are priced normally. https://www.facebook.com/pg/Poison-Girl-Cocktail-Lounge-35173892321/about/?ref=page_internal

Thanks for the suggestions. Went to Game preserve tonight. Lots of games! Unfortunately, Lotr was out of commission, but we were able to play ST, SW, GB premium, and an assortment of other tables / games. Had a great time.
I’ll most likely try Einstein’s Pub tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

I went to Poison Girl a few months back.....pins were dirty, errors, etc. need some minor maintenance and the games could be nice. Probably not worth the trip but it is a bar in a different part of town so you may at least enjoy a drink there.

Einstein’s has a FANTASTIC lineup... their slogan is “Second hand smoke is always free!” .... pee yew!

I love me some Einstein’s but get ready to feel the smoke! Cheap beer. Great (IMO) burger and fries. I’ll be there tomorrow for my silverball fix.

I haven't been there in a million years but an rgp'er used to operate some pins at Rudyard's British Pub, on Waugh drive. Anybody know if they still have any there? The place has been significantly expanded in size since I used to go there during ancient history, so theoretically they should have *room* for pins!

Heading to the woodlands for a 12 day contract. Any Pinheads want to hang out at Game Preserve?? I need to find something to to after 8:30.

I'll be in Houston next week and am looking for a pinball destination. Is the Game Preserve still open? I can't seem to find any current information. I'd love to join a tournament or event if they still exist.
