Fyi- I'll include 2 little pieces of double sided tape. One long for lengthwise on center up and down, and a little piece for the tip. I however over the past weeks had only one piece of painters tape holding it to the planchette.....it never moved! I was shocked thinking it would come off, get air balled bounced off....nope, never moved. I also was taking it off, trying both versions and making sure the ones that got made would fit.
I ran the demensions to the limit, not because i could. But because it just looked better to fill the space. Keeping it to scale, I also didnt want it to be to big. The choices where infinit, but I feel this final version was just right.

I've tried many tapes over past month, just want to get this right for all under glass. For convenience, I've been using that blue painters tape.
I have several to mail out, and will look for that tape later today. My only worry is making any residue stains on original Planchette. But, if we are all covering it up, maybe best not to worry about that.

Biggest problem I faced past couple days is getting good photography of planchette on game. Game off, just doesnt work. Flash doesnt work. Strobbing green in attract mode makes an odd hue. Past several weeks as I played game and watched ball the planchette blends in nicely and doesn't distract your field of view. Hard to show that in a couple pics.

2 mm Black ABS industrial plastic. Same material as your black water pipe at hardware store. Very strong tensile strength.
Before I made a large amount of these I tested 3 types under the glass. I also ended up with a bad printing slug and did a bend and shock test.
These will hold up very wall to any ball hits.

I didn't want to micromanage installation too much but if you find it touching the ramp you can just turn the planchette a little bit to the right.
I have mine tucked in pretty tight.

Sunday bump. Only couple key fobs left.
I have another idea I will share this week for the Planchette.
I am also getting phase two ready for dye cutting and gauging interest for quanity to make this week.
Plenty of both planchette's in stock and ready to ship.
Also by end of the week Ill be introducing my third product in this line.

Soon, Im close to finished product. Should be about another week. The engraving process takes forever. Constant blowing during engraving so as to leave any scrape material to mare surface. Pain in the neck.

I had a request to see light insert on planchette thru the Planchette hole. Hard to capture a good pic of that color changing Led. So I captured one at boot up.
Both versions of planchette's ready to ship same day or next, depending on what time of day they come in.

As promised;
Friday reveal for new mod on this Fabulous Houdini machine.
This is the protorype, final version will have playing card emblems in all 4 corners.
This is designed to cover up the American Pinball white bubble sticker, center of upper head.
Two versions will be available, flat and curved to hide that sticker.
You can either leave sticker on, or peel it off and place on coin door, coin box.
These will be ready to ship next week. I spent many hours this week with cad design, the dye to cut, and finding best way to curve them.
My wife likes the Flat, I'm impartial, I kinda like them both. It was so hard to determine I decided to make both versions available.
