It's no concern to me whatsoever how much the price of my Houdini depreciates. If the economy crashed tomorrow or if World War III broke out, everyone's machine would be worth just firewood to keep you warm. One never knows what "tomorrow" will bring, but eventually the inevitable will happen. Yes, the past will repeat itself.
That being said, I play pinball for fun & escapism. When I discovered this incredible hobby I knew that my wallet would take a hit. When I purchase a machine I always know what I want & I'm always willing to pay up for it. Also, sometimes it works the other way. But life is too short to bicker over a machines value/worth considering that pinball is subjective & a certain title might not be your thing. Pinball is expensive, but what this hobby gives in return is worth every penny lost!
Nonetheless, Houdini Rocks!
