I recently picked up an American Pinball Houdini and I love it. The only thing is when a ball goes to the stage, it sits there and nothing happens, other than ball search which frees the ball.
I tried calibration of stage (which is a gobble hole with servo driven captive ball) which seems to do nothing. I tried the switch test, now with my finger in that hole i get "stage" switch all the time. However if I plop a ball in there, "stage" sometimes doesn't trigger. It will if I push on the ball. I think the switch is bad.
But I have no idea how to fix it, this isnt a leaf switch on a drop target... any advice?
