Just recieved my new rom in the mail for my Hotdoggin' Sound board. I put it in and it worked perectly for about 20 minutes and then started to freeze up a little bit. Now I can shut the game off, turn it back on and have sound but then it randomly cuts out mid ball and doesn't return until the game is shut off and turned back on. I'm stumped since I just had the entire board rebuilt and it worked perfectly before flaking out shortly after. Would really like to get to the bottom of this as its been nearly 9 months since this game last had sound.

1. make sure the board is screwed in tight for a good ground.
2. See if you can recreate the "random". try pushing/twisting on the rom chips while the sound is going. If it locks up, the problem is likely the chip socket.
3. try the same for the connectors. It's a good idea to repin these anyway for solid connection.

Got it to work, not sure how I wasn't having other issues but my J3 Connector was not plugged in to the driver board properly. Thanks for the response!
