Come on AP! What are you guys doing? Obviously not market research. I own Houdini and have been a vocal supporter but this is not going win over a lot of new fans. I loved Hot Wheels as a kid but I don't want a Hot Wheels game in my house. All I can say is that they better knock it out of the park on the layout, artwork, toys, innovations and be competitively priced to a Stern Pro to have a shred of a chance of competing.

Quoted from PismoArcade:

For whatever reason, the heads of AP games reminds me of 80's Gottlieb games.

I think the odd AP backbox design works well for Hot Wheels.

I think AP has done an admirable job course-correcting from previous missteps. They backed off the crazy, packed, playfield designs and original themes and come out with a nice art package on a licensed theme. I am more that pleasantly surprised. I'm anxious to see it in person.

Quoted from PoMC:

Yeah, all these latest pics of the screen and display looks perfectly fine.

And yet two years from now people will still be harping on the How Wheels screens. That's what we do. We're mindless sheep that can no longer rationally think about things or change opinion from an initial, blurry cell phone image. The complete awfulness of a font selection will be forever etched in our collective memories.

I love Houdini and Oktoberfest as themes but seriously, Poker Run is the most stupid theme idea ever.
